Wharfedale Races

    Can anyone tell me where these were held, when, for how long and is there anything other than the odd race card still in existance? That should keep you happy for a while!

    I was told by Frank Newbould the races were held off Bradford Road, the oposite side to Orchard Petrol Station.
    By the way these are my pictures/postcards you are posting!

    The year was 1869 - they were part of the "Burley Feast & Races". This race card was from the second year they were held.
    The "Burley Feast" was the giant pudding!
