Thanks Wharfedale - long considered replacement, finaly forced to do it thanks to problems with the old board. It seems much better (though at a cost of $250 it should be!).
There will be wrinkes to iron ut and appreciate anything moderators / admins can do to look out for issues, review permissions for suitability, and trobleshoot.
I will do a new logo / banner!
Matt

Banner / header looks great, and you guys have to see this on the iPhone – there is even an App to view the Forum!!!!! There is a link to it on the iStore at the bottom of the page if you view the site on your phone.
Link: http://www.invisionp...ad/goiphone.php
Looking at the site in Google Chrome at the moment and all looks fine

Hi Matt,
Great new look to the forums, another of the forums I help out on has an Invision board, serious power behind the scenes with this. Without wishing to tempt fate, also very secure forum too.
You may want to disable the Karma options, so often these cause nothing but trouble.

Hi Dragonrider,
Partly on your comments some time ago that I switched to this - that and knowing I can always pay the developers for help if we have problems (lack of support is a downside of open source!). Transfer was straightforward enough but took time to congfigure permissions, I hope I have got them right. Please do help - what are karma options? I have no idea!

Here we go, login to the admin pages, click the System tab on the top line, under Tools and Settings, click Members, then Reputation Settings and either set Enable Rep system to NO, or if you want to keep it, strongly recommend Positive only.
