Just tried to enter the first two events for Burley Biking, on Tuesday 22nd & Sunday 27th June - forum responds that the events are sent to a queue for moderation. Why do calendar entries require moderation? How long are they likely to be stuck there?

Hi weirdmusic,
They shouldn't require moderation, and they had already been approved by the time I looked, so presumably another moderator got there first! I have changed the security settings so events no longer require moderation, any member can enter events now.

There appears to be an issue with submitting events to the calendar.
I can submit x2 events quite easily, though I've yet to work out how you include images.
The problem comes when I try to submit a third one, I get blocked. Either the problem lies with my machine (I'm running Windows 7 Professional) or its the server for Wharfedale Forums. Anybody any ideas as to what's going on?

I've tried again tonight to submit events, but I'm being prevented - it results in a Forum error message. Anybody else had the same problem?
Thanks for hanging in there.

Whatever you've done "Wharfedale" has fixed the problem. Thanks.
I've since discovered another quirk of the calendar - it will only display 4 events per day, the fifth tips it over the edge. So what you see on the main calendar is "5 events", not the listing of the events. Its a quirk I can live with.
