I'm not sure what the current trading name is for this business, but I'm refering to the delicatessan type place opposite the chemist on Main Street.
I see they have installed some sort of seating area to the front of the property.
It isn't exactly in keeping with the victorian terraces which surround it.
Who owns this land? I have always known it as a public right of way.
Where was the planning permission? I never saw it.

Surfing the posts found this interesting topic. It appears near every deli where possible, many coffee emporiums, pizza palaces, certain hostelries are ALL at it. Blocking our pavements with tables, chairs and other unwanted clutter. Often in places already dangerous by their position but nothing appears done about it. Perhaps in the Year of The Dragon they'll feel the heat of City Hall Dragons and clear our pavements. Alternatively CHARGE the culprits for use of Council Property and charge a heffty sum too then there'll be less to charge motorists......

I don't think it causes clutter. At least it's a surviving business unlike all the others that have closed! Apart from cornerstones there is no other place to enjoy a coffee or tea.
