Please will admin publish reliable maximum limits for uploading to the gallery, both pixel dimensions and file size. Many sites open a window in your browser to view large files that won't fit in the normal window and thus avoid the need to download.

I am not aware that there is a limit to the dimensions of any image that’s uploaded, and if there is a limit, I certainly can’t find it in the Admin area.

The maximum file size is 700K at the moment but that may be reduced as it’s very generous.

Well whatever, 500KB is more than adequate, what would happen if you enabled the "zoom" button?

We have a zoom button? Cool! Sounds like fun!
Yep, if you select an image there is a button with the usual "zoom" magnifying glass icon. Currently inactive. By the way and thanks for the comment, more than happy to share what I can if I know what is possible within the site.

What on earth is your site doing to uploaded image files? Do you want the gallery to work or not? My last upload of St Mary's having uploaded successfully then turns up in the browser (any) flipped on its side. Not too reliable eh?
I'm running the latest Firefox on an Intel mac using snow leopard. Also Safari and Opera.
I was able to flip the image as a guest and it has remained the "right way up" since!!
Edit: This was harsher than I intended, the result of frustration

Apologies for the delay in my response. I have been upto my eyes as usual.
I have tried the magnifying glass on several browsers in native and compatibility mode and it looks like the forum software/browser interaction doesn’t always work correctly. This also appears to apply to other areas such as the drop down menus etc’.
I’ll have a look on some of the support forums and see what I can find.
