Is it another quirk of the forum software that when you click on "View New Content", it only tells you which topic over the last 24 hours has new content & the newest post?
Even though there may be any number of new posts within that topic .

Could the default display be changed to show how many new posts in 24 hours there have been within a topic?
Just a number would help.

'View New Content' is mainly for admin & moderaters usage & informs them of any new posts.

I am out of town at the moment but will have a look when I get back. However, you could subscribe to all forums which would notify you when something happens.

The RSS feeds also provide a good way to be advised of new posts. :)

I'm neither of those things, but I use it all the time, to save trawling through all the forums to find new content.  Its a quick & easy way of doing it.
