I live on Main Street and my car is parked for long periods of time on this road. Unfortunately the car has been damaged on numerous occasions with other peoples careless parking. In October my car was vandalised with someone jumping on the roof which cost £1000's to fix, thank goodness for insurance!

I have joined this forum to see if anyone had any off street parking available and if anyone else has had any problems with vehicle damage.

I know there used to be a group of lads that went round the village causing senseless damage. This was usually to train station and bus shelter. It seems to have gone quiet, most likely because of the cold weather and dark evenings.

The key thing is to alert residents. I wondered if it was as a result of increased yobs frequenting the pizza shop.

I saw a pikey cruising up and down main street last week about 8:30, but he seemed more interested in any shiney things on the pavement (or free bottled water).

Friday 26th November. Three lads aged about 12-13 at the bus shelter, opposite Pizza one. About 20:00. Seemed to be having a game of pushing each other into the bus shelter, followed by hitting the panels to get a noise.

Where are the PCSO's we used to have. I seem to remember they were quite visible in the evenings, even if only chatting at the CO-OP.
