We have a very dry corner in the garden where I wish to plant something which will tollerate the conditions. It is overhung with a large mature Beech and is on the north west side of the garden. I am looking for ground cover initially with perhaps bulbs throughout the season. I fear it will need an amount of humous to give it's soil some character.

Any advice from your gardening experts would be well very welcome.
