I buy weekend newspapers and little else in the co-op, apart from bits and pieces. Yes it's a dump but I have always found the great majority of the staff to be helpful & friendly. What is beyond my comprehension however is why can't they get their milk order right? Has anyone ever managed to buy a pint of semi skimmed in the evening? - tried again tonight and as always there were plenty of pints of blue top and red top, but not a single green one. I have asked many times about this - ie why can't they change their order to more accurately reflect their sales pattern but the best I can get is a shrug. Yes I know I should get out more but it is pretty basic . rant over!

i never get a shrug i always receive a pleasant reply. So in answer to your little rant i have asked this question for you. They do get more green top than any other but just like your goodself, everyone buys it, and so do the nursing homes ect, it is the quickest milk to go. The manager makes sure she gets plenty and unfortunatly the milk supplier gets it wrong sometimes, or it just runs out! they havnt the capacity to store back stock.Hope this is helpful to you.

Try Country Corner - I always seem to be able to get semi-skimmed there.

thanks to you both - still think it wouldn't take einstein to amend the order to get more green top at the expense of the others - especially since "everyone buys it"
still more important things in life to worry about
