Perhaps amongst the various threads full of angst over the Coop/Library/Tesco etc it might be appropriate to add a topic to congratulate and thank the various organisers and others who have contributed their time to the Burley Festival.
I thought Sunday was excellent. The Classic car show was super and all the other events seemed to be well attended. It was a pleasure to see so many families enjoying themselves.

The classic motor show was excellent, talked to a few car owners and had a good look round, my step-dad had his car on display also.. I think the weather helped too, but it was a great turnout with various motor. Some beautiful, interesting and rare cars, bikes, trucks etc as well as the usual 'classic motor'
Well done to the organisers, had a brilliant day and was rounded off with a few drinks sat outside the Red Lion where we listened to the 1st few singers before having to head home!
