I went to some of our best Blackberry sites with the intention of picking and jamming some but every site is devoid of fruit. Just grey, shriveled, apologies of what would have been a mega crop. While all about trees are bending with fruit - Holly, Rose hips, Sloes, Yew, it doesn't add up. And it's nothing to do with the supposed climate change I'm sure.

Have members found the same in other parts of the District?

The obvious places are quickly stripped
the secret ones
will hopefully remain so

That's the trouble. There's nothing too strip. I now find it's not just in this area. The same is further afield. So something has hit this years crop. The same or something similar with Bilberries on our Moors and heathland.
